My boards from OSH arrived a while back, so here are some pictures. The next step is getting the code running to test the display, though I may try feeding it some serial goodness from Bus Pirate as a test. So far it appears that the first test run of DipTrace tools and OSH Park service went pretty well!
Bare boards from OSH Park, in their requisite color! Both sides look pretty good.
Hand assembled first sample. No obvious woopses so far.
Now on to installing the display:
Display connected. Flex has a bend radius limit, so the position of the display and connector are pretty important.
LCD side. The red circle is on a plastic film protecting the screen- that gets removed eventually. The display is held by a small double sided tape.
Hi, what is the dimension of the pcb?
HI, the board is 1.5″x 1.3″ and is 0.063″ thick
